PURELIFI
pureLiFi was co-founded by Prof Harald Haas. Originally, it was a spin-out from the University of Edinburgh but has now received significant investment and grown into an exciting technology SME.
LiFi is high speed bi-directional networked and mobile communication of data using light. LiFi comprises of multiple light bulbs that form a wireless network, offering a substantially similar user experience to Wi-Fi except using the light spectrum. 6G will likely make use of Lifi systems.
ZEETTA NETWORKS
Co-founded by Prof Dimitra Simeonidou, Zeetta Networks spun out of the world-renowned High-Performance Networks Group of University of Bristol to commercialise the group’s leading Network Virtualisation & Network Slicing technology.
Zeetta is a software company that provides network automation tools that enable Enterprises and Managed Service Providers to build and operate their networks easily without escalating CAPEX and OPEX. The software products are based on open standards but with patent-protected extensions for virtualisation, automation and network slicing and splicing™.
WORLDSENSING
Co-founded by Prof Mischa Dohler, Worldsensing is a global Internet of Things (IoT) pioneer. Worldsensing's industrial monitoring experts work with over 270 engineering partners in more than 60 countries to deploy critical infrastructure monitoring solutions in mining, construction, rail and structural health.
Worldsensing has now more than 80 employees and offices in Barcelona, London, Los Angeles and Singapore and investors include Cisco Systems, Mitsui & Co, McRock Capital and ETF Partners, among others.
